About Pet Pantry

George’s Pet Pantry Birthday Party was this afternoon, and we had a blast! He turned 1 year-old a few weeks ago, and we’ve been over-celebrating the occasion. We jumped at the opportunity to host an event in his honor with Pet Pantry in New Canaan. With the help of Sarah Bamford from Hybrid Media, we were able to plan an awesome bash for the local blogging community.

Pet Pantry Warehouse has seven locations across Westchester and Fairfield Counties. There is just something that feels different about shopping at a local, family-run business. The first time we stepped foot through Pet Pantry New Canaan, we felt it. The staff are helpful and appear genuinely excited to be there! Founded in 1945, Pet Pantry is currently run by brothers Adam and Ari Jacobson. Adam was on-site for the party and couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating if he tried.

Similar to other pet stores, Pet Pantry has a rewards program where you can earn points based on what you purchase. They carry a ton of high-quality pet-food brands including George’s favorite (Earthborn Holistic) and Delaney’s favorite (Weruva). Also, Pet Pantry carries frozen and alternative diet food. I also stopped in to purchase some gourmet dog treats before George’s real birthday last month. They had a large selection and even a birthday section of the store. The toy, leash, and collar selection at Pet Pantry is impressive, too.

Finally, many of their locations have pet-washing stations, which is awesome. I absolutely hate dirtying our tub when it’s time to bathe George. Booking the dog-washing station is easy and they provide you with everything you need.

All The Details

Planning a party to please both humans and pets is no small feat. Sarah Bamford and the team at Pet Pantry made sure all the details were perfect. They whipped up some delicious frozen sundae treats for the pups. Each treat was even adorned with beef flakes and this whipped topping that George went crazy for. I’m pretty sure he helped himself to three sundae cups. The pups left with gorgeous gift bags filled to the brim with goodies.

Greenology Kitchen was there with delicious plant-based goodies for the humans. We snacked on fresh hummus and several other yummy dishes. Izzi B’s allergen-friendly bakery made brookies and cupcake bites for the occasion. All of Izzi B’s treats are free of the top seven allergens and absolutely delicious. Faces by Wells was there to face paint for the kiddos. I was so impressed with how she was able to create beautiful face-paintings even with masks on!

Big HUGE thank you to Sarah Bamford and Elisa Gorman for helping make George’s Pet Pantry Birthday Party so special <3 <3 <3 <3
