Bathroom Decor and Organization Necessities

We finally remodeled our master bathroom this fall. This condo has been a total labor of love over the past four years. There is definitely a learning curve when it comes to owning a home. All the renovation plans I had years ago are finally coming to fruition. We’re finally in a phase of life where we can actually just enjoy all we’ve done to our home- the new flooring, kitchen, bathroom, doors, crown molding, the list goes on.

With that, here are some pictures of our latest project. I had to have a navy blue vanity and searched high and low to find one within our budget. We’re really happy with the way this one looks given the price-point (under $1,000).

I found a small white storage cabinet from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. In all honesty, it looked cheap and still kind of does. I switched the knobs out to better match the decor in the bathroom, and plan to keep it in there for now. The space is so small, it was challenging to find a storage piece that worked. We had a ton of gift cards to Bed, Bath, and Beyond which is why we decided to look there for bathroom items. The mirror is also from there.

My favorite part of the bathroom is the storage drawers I found for the vanity. My make-up and skincare items are all organized in there and nothing is out on the counter top. Nothing is a bigger killjoy than a cluttered countertop.

We didn’t want to hang anything on the walls since everything is so clean and crisp-looking. That being said, we absolutely love the way our Mapiful Map looks on the wall behind the door.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that home ownership is a marathon, definitely not a sprint.
