This weekend, I visited Le Boudoir to celebrate the launch of their “Last Minute Blowout App.” If you’re anywhere in Fairfield County, LeBoudoir is THE place to get your hair blown out (&make-up done- but more on that later.) They have beautiful locations in New Canaan, Darien, and Westport. Through the app, you can easily schedule your blowout- even at the last minute. Depending on the location, day, and time, your blow-out cost as little as $20. They also run tons of specials weekly, and the best way to keep up to date is by joining their mailing list and following them on Instagram.
The vibe at LeBoudoir is what keeps me coming back, and I’ve been a customer for years. It is brightly and vibrantly decorated. You can’t help feeling cheerful as soon as you walk in. They even have massage chairs at their washing station. The set-up of the Darien location is intimate and relaxing. I went to the event with two of my girlfriends, and we were able to talk while we got our hair done.
In the past, I’ve struggled at other blowout bars. My hair never looked or felt great, and I think a lot of it had to do with the products that were used. At LeBoudoir, they use so many products that I use at home. During my last blowout, she simply sprayed my hair with LivingProof restore perfecting spray. I’m sitting here a day later as I write this post, and my hair still feels fresh, clean, and light.

Now onto make-up…If you’ve been following for awhile, you know I am not a fan of make-up. I think it’s because I spend a lot of time on my skin, I’m just too exhausted to worry about putting make-up on. My make-up routine consists of rubbing tinted moisturizer on my face, curling my lashes, and applying a coat of mascara. A few weeks ago, I tried to contour my face. I looked like I had rolled in a pile of dirt and decided perhaps I should seek some professional help in the make-up department.
One of the fabulous ladies at LeBoudoir did my make-up during the event and gave me quite an education about the world of make-up. My biggest takeaway- start slow with the whole idea of ‘contour’. She used a Charlotte Tilbury sculpting powder to highlight my cheeks and slim my nose and chin. She also used Pillow Talk to line my lips and Super Model for color (both by Charlotte Tilbury). I was shocked how I looked like myself, just more put together. The lip color was subtle, but noticeable. I promptly ordered all three products upon returning home.

People always ask me who is “the best” person to see at LeBoudoir. I try someone different every visit, and I’ve loved every stylist. I’m so excited to partner with LeBoudoir this year and keep all you local gals up to date on more fun evenings at the salon.
