I’m a big fan of a pair of shoes that I can wear day-after-day. I’m also a big fan of traditions and family. Eastland is a Maine-based, family-run company that has been crafting shoes since the 1950’s. I have been living in my Patricia Penny-Loafers since the snow melted last week. They look great with a pair of jeans and a comfy, spring sweater. I also paired them with a casual spring dress for school one day. As a teacher, I’m constantly looking for casual shoes that I can wear with dresses. I was pleased with the feminine and delicate look of the Patricia Penny-Loafers. More importantly, they feel like I’m wearing slippers- majorly comfortable.

Eastland shoes get at the essence of casual New England style. I have always loved their men’s shoes as they are well-made and fashionable, yet versatile. They even have a line of major-league baseball-inspired boat shoes for men. I think my dad may be getting a pair of Red Sox boat shoes this Father’s Day. For myself, I really like the Patricia Penny-loafers and Cambridge double-slide sandals. Eastland has been creating handcrafted leather shoes for nearly six decades, and I’m all about supporting a long-standing tradition- especially when it involves shoe shopping.

Ending on March 27- everything on the Eastland site is 30% off with code MARCH19. My favorite loafers come in 15 colors!
